2 is better than 1

More often than not, the princess can always turn to the words of wisdom from teenage singing sensation, Taylor Swift, when it comes to love.

Here she is, with "Boys like Girl", singing "2 is better than 1". A loving, heartwarming song made for listening to on a cold rainy day like today.

A simple, easy-listening song that tells a simple fact of love.

The princess heart Taylor Swift.

The princess back in Wonderland

These days, the princess feels like she is Alice back in WOnderland again (where everything seemed so similar as if a recurring dream but never knowing what to make of it).

Three months into the new year and yet it seems that 2009 had never really left; living the past in the present on all front. Every morning, every moment of 2010 just reminds me of 2009.

Sometimes, the princess cant help but wonder at times "hey.. wait a minute.... this feels like ..... hmmmm"

Yet, the princess cant really put a finger to this Deja Vu feeling.

Neither a good nor bad feeling, just a feeling of being stuck in a moment for eternity - a sense of loss that comes with too much familiarity.

The princess keep asking herself these days "Where do i go from here? I guess you can never move forward without knowing where to go to"

Perhaps, in true ALice in Wonderland fashion, the question that the princess should be asking is "Have i gone crazy?"

To which, some kind soul, hopefully, is gonna reply "Yes, you have gone totally bonkers.... but you know, the most brillant and beautiful and kind people i've known are crazy as well".

But knowing the friends that the princess have.... they are more likely than not to throw a bucket full of cold reality and call the princess "absolutely delusional"

Delusional or an absolutely beautiful and kind princess or not, like ALice, the princess is determined to wake up every morning believing that 6 impossible things will happen to me (i.e. like striking lottery, not needing to work, finding a perfect prince, strictly following the principles of a self-help book and finding that it works, stopping at 1 glass of alcohol in the clubs and, of course, slaying a dragon.)

The princess simply just hope to come out of my own wonderland soon and having an answer to where i would like to go in life and the resolve to do it.

And also, hopefully, like Alice, the princess can master that crisp british accent so that i can say "Yes, i would like to have a little of that absolutely beautiful scone please" as i proceed to my beautiful sunday brunch today with the nagging thought of whether i will ever climb out of the rabbit hole and see the light.

How to find a guy in 10 days?

How do you find a guy in 10 days, while studying hard at the same time, and actively searching for a new job?

So little time, so few men.

The trials and tribulations of a single beautiful part-time studying and full-time working class girl.

A book in one hand and a Chanel brief case in another; leaving the princess literally no hands to grab hold of the first decent man that comes passing by.

After a hush-hush meeting at the Valley of the dolls, the princess has come up with her brilliant plan to snag a fabulous guy in 10 days (or months depending on the situation)

Day 1 - Everything begins from within

Declutter, Prioritise and Re-focus

Too often we lose track of our vision by frivolous distractions such as dessert making, window shopping and wine drinking. Successful ladies are known to prioritise and focus. No point making cakes, wear nice dress and get drunk when there is no man to do all these with at the end of the day.

Back to basics

In the age of technologies where options seem limitless, ironically, the success rate can be really low.

We need to get back to basics and re-focus our attention on the few key battlefields.

Weak ladies, like the princess, really need to pick our battles wisely. We cannot afford to spread ourselves too thin nor too wide (no pun intended)

Vision Mission

In new age alternative world, envisioning is the secret key to love. The princess must keep chanting 24/7 "True love will come in 10 days time"

After laying the solid foundation for love, the princess is ready to venture out into her battlefields. Day 2, here we come.

The comeback ladies

Lady "V" meticulously plans for her big comeback this weekend as she realises that the sailors are in town.

"I will dress in nautical top and a white hot pant" Lady "V" proudly declares.

"You reminds me of Madonna in JPG. So passe" the Princess casually laughed off her ridiculous idea.

Secretly, the princess is planning her own big comeback herself this weekend with my classic leopard prints leotard.

After all, being out at sea for the longest time, surely, the sailors would love to see some wild and dangerous animal on the prowl.

This weekend, there will be a clash of the titans, as the princess and lady "V" bare their fangs and get ready to make that fatal pounce - like the deadly black mamba......

Sailors or No sailors, Classy or Crude, one thing is for sure.

After a series of distractions and false detours, the ladies of royalties are finally ready to leave old baggages behind, and strut back with a vengeance.

This time, only much stronger, wiser and lethal.

Lurve,
the mamba sistas

The personality profiling test

The princess shudders in fear as she takes on the terrifying personality profiling test.

Ever the karma chameleon and never the one who believes there is only one right way to everything, the princess is pretty worried that she might be viewed as a schizophrenic bitch from hell.....

The problem with our fast-moving world and our crazy desire to figure everyone out in a twinkle of an eye ...... is that we are so keen to pigeon hole & typecast everyone into a particular type right from the onset that we leave ourselves little room to really discover a person slowly.

As the princess finally completes her test (after going back and forth to change the answers) and feeling like a complete idiot, i can only hope for the best.....

Perhaps, in the cruel reality of life, we just got to be our own true self, put our best foot forward and hope the glass slipper fits to a t........

lurve,
Princess P
