The Love Game

When it comes to love, do we all need to play the game to get what we want?

According to experts (of the princess), playing rounds of mind games is neccessary in the courtship dance. Give away yourself too early and it will be a recipe for disaster.

But what happens to love at first sight and, that, the truth will set you free?

Did Cinderella drop her glass shoe and ran away on purpose; so as to have the prince seek frantically for her across the whole kingdom?

Did Sleeping Beauty pretended to fall asleep for a 100 years and was playing hard to get as a result?

Did poor little mermaid give herself away too early in the game? She gave away her voice and her tail in the pursuit of happiness but ended up giving away her man and life as well.

On hindsight, maybe, these fairy tales had always been cautionary tales of woman playing the Love Game.

Somehow, strangely, the princess had always found myself drawn to "the little mermaid" the most ever since i was young.

Perhaps, the princess always felt that the most beautiful moments when loving someone is when you allow your heart to take over your head and not the other way round.

Maybe, in the game of Love, there will always be some poor souls (like the princess) who just dont seem to get the idea of it.
